Power Trust sources and supplies tubular and flat plate solar water heaters from as low as 100ltrs to 300ltrs for both domestic and commercial settings such as hotels and health institutions.
1. Tubular Solar Water Heaters
Our tubular solar water heaters use an indirect system whereby vacuum tubes containing copper pipes absorb heat and transfer it to the water stored in the tank.
KEMA Power Tubular Solar Water Heaters
KEMA Power tubular solar water heaters have vacuum tubes that collect heat from sunshine, then the aluminium rings inside transfer the heat to copper pipe, then the copper pipe transfers the heat to water inside tank. The system start and transfer of heat is quick in cloudy and low radiation days with a daily average heat efficiency can go up to 55%. These heaters vary from 100, 120, 150, 180, 200, 240, 250, 300 litres.
Our flat plate solar water heaters have collectors consisting of a black absorbing plate at the bottom of which hollow copper pipes that house the thermal fluid are installed. The heated thermal fluid is always moving in the system to ensure that the temperature of water rises.
Solar Flame Solar Water Heaters
These solar water heaters contain the following:
Set of brass fittings for connections between boiler and collector(s), using DN16 stainless steel hoses (Inox 316L).
DN16 stainless steel pipes are insulated with material that has UV protection and a thickness of at least 13mm.
The ball valves contained in the kit are certified (OVGW) for drinking water network.
Relief valve with diaphragm set to 10bar.
Closed circuit safety valve set at 2.5bar.
Optional: Adjustable thermostatic mixing valve with salt protection.
Thermal fluid is also included, safe for humans and the environment according to EC regulations. It is based on 1,2-propylene glycol and it is recommended that the minimum percentage of antifreeze in the closed circuit be at least 33%.
